About us

Anton and Bergur was founded the year 2008 by Anna Margrét. Previous Anna had worked in a big agency, with good clients and got good experience from that time. The year 2008 was a tough time here in Iceland and after a second lay-off from the same agency also again in a maternity leave, the message was clear. There was no space for waiting so there was only one way to go and that was to get into the business.

Regarding the experince from previous employe and coming back to business after being home with the second child, it was clear that the company needed strong man in the front line. After a good search and a long meeting, Anton and Bergur old friends, agreed to be part of the team.

Anton and Bergur had been working together on some project and for them this was no question. They are clever, full of ideas and have good nose for business. Anton is more on the business side while Bergur has the charm and got the looks….  so its Bergur that takes the clients to golf, fishing and other fun stuff. Though Anton and Bergur got their names on the firm, is it Anna who is the boss and runs the company. So if you need something to be done, you better talk to Anna.

Our latest team member is Addi, he dwells most of the time in “smiðjan” experimenting with concrete.
