Anna has practiced Ashtanga Yoga since 2007. She completed a teacher training (RYT200) with Ingibjörg Stefánsdóttir and has since then taught at Yoga Shala Reykjavík, at Iceland Academy of the Arts (LHÍ), at Department of Performing Arts (ÍD) among other places. Anna seeks guidance from teachers who follow the traditions of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and his guru Sri T. Krishnamacharya.
“The tradition, lineage, connection between movement and breathing in addition to the asana is what attracts me to the Ashtanga Yoga method. To be able to have a space to breath, move in my own flow and meet myself in a different asanas has taught me immensely about myself.”
